Shrink Ray Privacy Policy

Shrink Ray compresses photos on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: nothing leaves your device.

What Shrink Ray accesses

• Photos you choose. Shrink Ray reads the photos you pick, or the photos you share to it from another app, to make smaller copies. With your permission it saves those copies to your photo library and, only when you tap Delete, asks iOS to delete the originals. iOS always asks you to confirm a deletion, and deleted photos go to Recently Deleted.
• Your photo library, if you allow it. "Find my largest photos" lists your photos by resolution so you can pick the biggest ones. This list is built on your device and is not stored or sent anywhere.

Photo metadata such as the capture date, location and orientation is copied from the original to the compressed copy so your library stays in order. Shrink Ray does not read it for any other purpose.

What Shrink Ray stores

Shrink Ray keeps a few settings on your device: your chosen compression level and format, appearance, language, how many photos you compressed today (for the daily limit), the total space you have saved, and whether you have Shrink Ray Pro. These stay on your iPhone and are removed when you delete the app.

What Shrink Ray does not do

• It does not upload your photos or any other data. All processing happens on your device.
• It has no accounts and no sign-in.
• It contains no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
• It does not share or sell any information, because it collects none.

Purchases

Shrink Ray Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; Shrink Ray only receives confirmation from Apple that your purchase is active. See Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Children

Shrink Ray does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
